Check out WNCW.org It's listener supported college radio with NPR in AM then eclectic music the rest of the day. They throw in obscure stuff from well known names with stuff from you never hear across lots of styles - bluegrass, jazz, folk, blues and stuff that's just hard to classify.

Examples I've heard in last day - Reed Turner, Cowboy Junkies, Roy Orbison, Honeysmoke, Delbert McClinton, Nap Eyes, Alabama Shakes, Otis Redding, The Cactus Blossoms, Beck, David Lynch, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Kinks, Muddy Watrers, Hollow Boys, Magnolia Electric Company plus many I've never heard before.

Stumbled on the station when traveling in NC, looked it up when I got back home they have online streaming.
